Obituary for Thomas Joseph Kohr Jr.

Thomas Kohr Jr. age 88, of Plant City Florida passed away Wednesday, July 26th, 2017. A native of Hanover, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Thomas and Evelyn Coppersmith Kohr. Survivors include Wife: Nancy Kohr, Children: Mark Jeffery (Karen) Kohr, Kimberly Anna Marie (Mark) McInnis, Stephen Patrick (Loretta) Kohr, George Daniel (Beverly) Kohr, Brother: Richard Kohr, 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son: Thomas Joseph Kohr III, Thomas was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Masonic Lodge, Elks Lodge, Antique Motor Club, The Boy Scouts of America, where he was a scout leader, Tall Cedars of Lebanon. He served as President of the Association of Building Contractors and was a former Vice President and International Director of The U.S. Jaycees. He was a musician, he played piano and sang with the "Original Continentals". He was also a master plumber. Thomas Kohr was a veteran of the Army. Memorial Services will be held Thursday, August 3rd, 2017 at 12:30 pm at Hope Lutheran Church 2001 North Park Road Plant City, Florida 33563.
